Boniface stated that even if Spanish coach, Pep Guardiola, is the coach of the Super Eagles, the fans will still put him to task.

The Bayer Leverkusen striker however stated that as a player, his job is to give his all on the pitch of play as he is not the type that cares about what people think or say.

According to him, “The truth is even if we bring Guardiola, Nigerians will still have something to say, but I’m the type of person that doesn’t care about what people think because we’re not here with the team.

“Our job is to give it all on the pitch, and that’s it. It’s life. People will always criticize. So, no matter which coach you bring, people always have something to say.”

Boniface is presently with the Super Eagles squad in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State, preparing for 2025 AFCON qualifying games against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
