UK bars doctors, nurses from Nigeria, others from bringing dependants

The British Health authorities have barred doctors and nurses from foreign countries, including Nigeria from bringing family members and other dependants to the country.

This was made known by the UK Home Office via its verified X (Twitter) handle on Monday, March 11.

It wrote: “From today, care workers entering the UK on Health and Care Worker visas can no longer bring dependants.

“This is part of our plan to deliver the biggest ever cut in migration.”
