Transfer: Arsenal set to sign Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey for €17m

Arsenal set to sign Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey this summer.

According to Nevzat Dindar, Arsenal have submitted a €17 million (£14.7m) offer to Galatasaray over Boey’s signature.

Boey has been one of Galatasaray’s standout players this season and has played a key role in putting the Turkish club on the brink of winning their first league title in four years.

However, Galatasaray are understood to be holding out for a €25m (£21.7m) fee for Boey, unwilling to let the 22-year-old leave for less than that figure.

This is coming after Galatasaray’s vice president, Erden Timur, travelled to London earlier this week for talks over a deal for Boey.

Boey joined Galatasaray from Rennes in 2021.

The defender, who still has two years remaining on his current deal with Galatasaray, has made it clear that he would be open to leaving the club this summer.
