Police arrest octogenarian for selling cartridges to hoodlums in Delta
The Delta State Police Command has arrested an eighty-year-old man, Omoraka James, for allegedly selling cartridges to hoodlums.
The hoodlums who bought the materials were said to be involved in various nefarious crimes in Kokori Community in Ethiope-East Local Government Area.
The Police recovered one hundred and fourteen (114) rounds of live cartridges from the suspect, DAILY POST can report.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a statement signed and made available to our correspondent.
He said, “The suspect’s premises were raided by the Command Raider’s Unit on the strength of an information received that he deals in Cartridges, sells to hoodlums which they use in carrying out various nefarious activities.”
