Nigeria, South Africa agree to deep bilateral ties
President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa are ready to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries.
Thus is the outcome of the high-level meeting between Nigeria and South Africa at the presidential level held ahead of the 78th UN General Assembly, which occurs from September 18 to 26, 2023.
Both presidents are attending the Assembly in New York in United States.
In 2019, both nations agreed to elevate the status of their Bi-National Commission, which the Vice Presidents of Nigeria and South Africa previously co-chaired.
The move reflects the growing importance of the bilateral relationship between the two African powerhouses and their commitment to fostering stronger ties.
