Tech giant,  Meta, revealed that Instagram is bringing several new features to Stories to allow users more imaginative ways to share content and interact with one another.

Users will be able to share hidden stories with their friends and followers using the new “Reveal” function. DMing you is the only method to view the story.

Other features that allow you to share your favourite tunes and use Stories to highlight memories are also being released by Instagram.

When creating a story, touch on the sticker icon and choose the Reveal option to utilise the new feature.

After that, a prompt to type a tip on the hazy plot will appear. Your blurry narrative will only be visible to friends and followers who DM you after it has been posted.

Everyone can now access another intriguing feature that Instagram previously demonstrated.

With this feature, you may share a tale that has the classic white frame of a Polaroid overlay.

The most interesting thing about this, though, is that users must shake their phone to see the image—just like you would with real Polaroid photos.

Indications are that Instagram is making modifications that include labelling reposted content, eliminating content aggregators from recommendations, and substituting original content for reposts in recommendations.

The announcement came after several months of complaints from creators who said the algorithm had a detrimental effect on their reach.

Earlier report stated that Users with more than 2,500 “verified subscriber followers” on Elon Musk’s app are given verified checkmarks and are eligible to receive free Premium memberships.

A decision that many users on X expressed concerns about finding themselves blue-checked once again. They never asked for it.
