Maresca highlights trusting process, idea to Chelsea fans ahead of next season

The newly employed coach of Chelsea FC, Enzo Maresca, has emphasized the issues of “trust process and trust the ideas” to the club’s fans.

While assuring them of good performance, he said these are what he will bring to the table ahead of next season.

Maresca, who spoke in a chat with BBC Sports, said he is very happy to be the coach of the club and also promised fans that they will enjoy the journey.

The new coach, who had spent a week in his new position at Stamford Bridge, said he took over as Chelsea’s coach in part because he thought the team had talent.

Maresca, he stated this via the club’s website, stated that, “The feeling is fantastic, I’m very excited.

“One of the reasons I’m here is because I’m convinced the squad is very good and full of talent. The most important thing now is we’re able to create the right culture that drives us for the season.

“I always say the same: if you can improve players then you can improve the team. So it’s our target to try to improve all of them day by day.

“When you join a club like Chelsea, you know that it’s a club that has to win. So for us, we are going to try our best to be there, to fight and compete with the clubs that at this moment are winning and fighting to win titles.”

He restated thst,“Just trust the process, trust the idea, be behind the team. For sure we are going to enjoy the journey.

“Like at every club, for every manager, it will not be easy because nothing is easy. But for sure we are going to enjoy our journey.”
