Jigawa Govt warns against fake employment portal

The Jigawa State Government has warned against a fake online recruitment portal circulating on social media.

A statement by the Public Relations Officer, Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse, Jigawa State, stated that some fraudsters are putting up advertisements on unscrupulous websites for the recruitment of Jigawa State Graduates (B.Sc/HND/ND).

The statement said the criminals equally fraudulently requested payment of some fees for filing of applications by prospective applicants.

It said the Jigawa State Government has not authorized or contracted such advertisement to any recruitment agency.

It, therefore, urged the public to disregard any such online adverts.
