Gov Bello appoints Justice Mejebi as acting Kogi Chief Judge

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has appointed Justice Josiah Mejebi as the acting State Chief Judge.

Performing the swearing-in on Monday, Gov. Bello charged the erudite jurist to discharge justice without fear or favour.

The governor described the Acting Chief Judge as a man of impeccable character and urged him to sustain the feat.

He assured the judiciary of the present administration’s support.

Justice Josiah Mejebi, who assured of the quick dispensation of justice under his leadership, promised to uphold the tenet of an unbiased judiciary under his watch.

Justice Josiah Mejebi takes over from Justice Olorunfemi who retired on Sunday 26th June 2022 after clocking 65 years.
