*EPIDEMIC OF HYPERTENSION & STROKE IN NIGERIA*
Normal blood pressure readings without medications are 110/70 and 120/80 for young and old, male and female. According to statistics from the Nigerian medical establishment, about 40 of Nigerians particularly young adults have hypertension ( blood pressure higher than 120/80). This means if Nigerain population is 200 millions, about 80 millions Nigerians are hypertensives. This portends great danger for our country human capital. Why and how? A study of 1.8 million people in the US published in the Lancet found hypertension more dangerous than diabetes and high chloesterol. What makes hypertension the MOST DANGEROUS metabolic disorder? Hypertension impairs the health and functions of the BRAIN – the COMMAND CENTER of all the body systems. In other words, unhealthy BRAIN makes the body cells, tissues and organs unhealthy. Given these facts, it is indisputable that HEALING comes from the HEAD irrespective of diseased tissue or organ.
Here are the specific reasons why HYPERTENSION is the most dangerous metabolic disorder.
1. Hypertension is the biggest trigger of STROKE & HEART ATTACK, which account for over 30 percent of global deaths yearly.
2. Hypertension can cause KIDNEY DISEASE
3. Hypertension drugs called Vasodilators can injure blood vessels in the eye retina, raising the risk of age-related macular degeneration- the biggest cause of blindness for the elderly.
. 4. Hypertension drugs increases the risk of DIABETES & CANCER.
What is the AGE factor in hypertension? The only age factors in hypertension are systolic (top BP number) and diastolic ( lower BP number). According to Journal of American Medical Association JAMA, for people over 60, the higher the top BP number, the higher the risk of stroke and heart attack. For those below 60, the journal said the higher the low BP number, the higher the risk of stroke and heart attack.
Is hypertension not CURABLE? Let’s get the answer from an institution training medical doctors. A study by IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON covering over 200 countries showed that 98 percent of hypertension cases are rooted in POOR D IET and LIFESTYLE CHOICES. The study added that treatment of hypertension with drugs needlessly cause over 7.5 deaths yearly. More on the dangers of synthetic BP drugs. According to University of Alabama study, synthetic BP drugs increase the risk of STROKE by 248 percent. What does this mean for 80 million or more Nigerians who are hypertensives? Hypertension is CURABLE regardless of your families history or what you have been told by medical doctors. How? GET BP BUSTER plus DIET & LIFESTYLE DOS & DONTS for HYPERTENSION. Where?
