Buhari highlights late Ogbulafor’s contributions to nation’s unity, democracy
President Muhammadu Buhari has praised dead former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor, for his contribution to democracy and nation’s unity.
In a condolence message to Ogbulafor’s family, on Saturday, Buhati said Ogbulafor would be remembered for his role in Nigeria’s democratic growth.
The former PDP’s National Chairman died in Canada on Friday at the age of 73.
Buhari condoled with leaders and members of the PDP, the Olokoro Royal family in Umuahia, and the Government and people of Abia State over the death of Ogbulafor.
A statement signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, stated that Buhari praised the former PDP National Chairman and said he would be remembered for his role in the nation’s democratic growth.
The President commended Ogbulafor’s zeal in sustaining the unity and progress of the country.
President Buhari prayed that God would accept the soul of the departed and comfort his family.
