Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala, said her father was angered by her wild celebration after scoring against Australia at the ongoing 2023 Women’s World Cup.

Oshoala had pulled off her jersey and ran to the side of the pitch to celebrate after making it 3-1.

The Barcelona star’s action became the subject of debate among football fans on social media.

However, Oshoala said her fathet was unhappy about her shirtless celebration.

She wrote on Instagram: “My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, life is a collection of MOMENTS.”

After the beating co-hosts, Australia, Nigeria are currently top of their group with four points and to play the Republic of Ireland in their final group game.
