VP decorates Egbetokun, meets ex-IGP Usman Alkali
Vice President Kashim Shettima has decorated the new Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, in Abuja.
Vice President Shettima performed the decoration during a meeting with Egbetokun’s predecessor, Usman Alkali Baba at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting, held a closed meeting at the Vice President’s wing and the Vice President Kashim Shettima is meeting with the new Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and his predecessor, Usman Alkali Baba at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting is holding at the Vice President’s wing, is expected to introduce the new IGP to the ex-IG who is in mufti to the nation’s
Egbetokun, was on Monday appointed Acting Inspector-General of Police by President Bola Tinubu who is away to Paris, France to attend an international conference.
Senator Shettima also on Tuesday met with the new National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu in the conference hall of his office.
The meeting also had in attendance the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state.
