Victor Osimhen’s move from Napoli to PSG still hanging

The move of Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, from Italian Serie A side, Napoli, to French club, Paris Saint-Germain, is still hanging, agency reports.
A report published on X (formerly Twitter) by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano informed that Napoli are not changing their plans on Romelu Lukaku after a three-year deal had been agreed with the player if Osimhen leaves.
Romano also said PSG won’t pay Osimhen’s hefty release clause or include Kang-in Lee in the deal as they continue to keep the Nigerian striker waiting.
According to Romano, ‘‘Napoli are not changing their plans on Romelu Lukaku, after three-year deal agreed they want to proceed as soon as possible.
‘‘Victor Osimhen still wants PSG, deal in stand-by as PSG won’t pay the clause or include Kang-in Lee in the deal… but Osimhen keeps waiting.’’
This comes weeks after Carlo Ancelotti explained why Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid decided not to sign Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen last season.
Ancelotti who was speaking with Radio TV Serie A said that Real Madrid decided not to sign Osimhen despite the departure of Karim Benzema because they had an alternative.
According to him, Madrid decided against acquiring the services of Osimhen because they thought that Benzema’s departure could be remedied by purchasing Jude Bellingham.
“No (we didn’t sign Osimhen) because I think the club thought that Benzema’s absence could be remedied by purchasing (Jude) Bellingham,” Ancelotti said in the chat.
