Veteran Nollywood actor, Agbako, dies at 102 years

Nollywood veteran actor, Charles Olumo, popularly known by his stage name Agbako, is dead.
Agbako died on Thursday aged 102 years.
The President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, confirmed his death in a statement.
According to Mr. Latin, “TAMPAN globally announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO. Details of the burial arrangements will be shared at a later time. Good night father, 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.”
For Jide Kosoko, also a veteran actor, “Good night, dear Baba Charles, a.k.a Agbako. Your remarkable life span of 102 years was truly a testament to your resilience and vitality. May your noble soul rest in eternal peace.”
Also an actrees, Omowumi Ajiboye, said, “Rest in perfect peace, sir. Your illustrious legacy shall forever endure in our hearts. Farewell, dear legend.”
