Unmask killers of policeman at Benin airport, Edo gov told

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has been to to unmask killers of a policeman during the violence that broke out at the Benin Airport recently.

The police inspector was killed shortly after the arrival of the reinstated deputy governor of the state, Philip Shaibu, from Abuja.

Dr Patrick Osagie Eholor, popularly known as Ultimate Equal, stated this, accusing the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of being behind the policeman’s killing.

The politician, in a viral video posted on X, said the governor should ensure that those responsible for the murder of the policeman are brought to book.

According to him, “Obaseki has nothing to do with this, and I am not here to defend him. I want to appeal to Godwin Obaseki, as the number one citizen of Edo state, that this crime is a crime against humanity.

“You must wake up and ensure that the trigger-lover who shot the police, must work with the IGP and the commissioner of police to find the trigger-lover. We are not going to rest on this matter.”

“How will you go back to join APC 24 hours after the killing of a police officer? APC that has ruined this country, where a bag of rice is more expensive than a salary.

“Phillip Shaibu went to PDP from APC, and now going back again to your vomit. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.”
