Transfer: Stripped of captaincy, Maguire decides to move from Man Utd

Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire, has finally decided to move from Old Trafford after being stripped of the captain’s armband.
Maguire was said to be ‘angry, shocked and upset’ when Man United manager, Erik ten Hag, told him at the training ground over the weekend that he would not be the Red Devils captain next season.
The report added that the England international could find an escape route in Chelsea this summer.
About half of the Premier League clubs tried to sign Maguire on loan in January and while Man United have set an ambitious asking price of £50million, it is likely to drop towards £30million.
Maguire has also attracted interest from Inter Milan and Saudi clubs, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
The 30-year-old has two years left on his £200,000-a-week Man United contract.
