Transfer: Rio Ferdinand will be happy if Kane plays for Man Utd this summer
Tottenham forward, Harry Kane, is said to be hoping for a transfer to Manchester United this summer, forner club’s defender, Rio Ferdinand, has said.
Mason Mount is the only senior recruit Erik ten Hag has made ahead of next season.
But United are believed to be close to signing goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan and hold an interest in Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.
However, Ferdinand would love to see Kane play at Old Trafford and adds Victor Osimhen could be a great addition too.
He told TNT Sports: “Harry Kane would be my dream signing. Victor Osimhen would be a great addition, too.
“But if I’m Erik ten Hag, I’d go for Kane because he will deliver immediate goals.
“There will be no bedding in period, he knows the Premier League inside out so there will be no acclimatisation issues. That’s what Manchester United need right now and that’s what Ten Hag needs.”
