Transfer: Real Madrid to sign Dusan Vlahovic if Mbappe deal fails
Dusan Vlahovic has been identified by Real Madrid as an ideal alternative to Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
The Spanish La Liga giants had revived interest in signing Mbappe this summer transfer window following the departure of Karim Benzema.
Mbappe had already decided not to extend his current contract with PSG beyond June 2024, as Real Madrid are keen to sign a top striker this summer.
Hence, the Los Blancos have identified Vlahovic, who has been linked with a move to Chelsa, and Victor Osimhen as potential targets, as per SER.
However, due to the Napoli forward’s €150 million valuation for Osimhen, Real Madrid are focusing on luring Vlahovic from the Allianz Stadium to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid are hoping to sign the Serbian attacker on a season-long loan with a purchase option at the end of the upcoming 2023-2024 season.
