Transfer: PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, shocked, disappointed over Mbappe’s latest decision

Paris Saint-Germain president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, expressed shock and disappointment when he learnt that forward Kylian Mbappe intended to leave the club for free next year.

Al-Khelaifi spoke on Wednesday to the media following the presentation of Luis Enrique as Paris Saint-Germain’s new manager.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire in 2024, and the France captain has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

“I was really shocked to learn that he intended to leave for free. It is very disappointing because Kylian is a fantastic lad, a real gentleman, and to leave for free by weakening the biggest French club, is not him.

“When I received this information, I was shocked and disappointed,” he said.
