Tragedy pervades Nollywood as Nigerian popular Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi, is dead.
Murphy, who died at 49, was passed away from injuries incurred when he slipped and fell in the bathroom in his home.
His colleague in the Yoruba movie industry, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, confirmed the unfortunate incident on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Sharing a picture of the deceased actor, Ola-Yusuf wrote; “Rest in peace… May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.”
“Goodnight Murphy Afolabi”, he added.
This comes less than 24 hours after the news filtered out about the death of a popular Nollywood actor, Saint Obi.
