Tinubu visits Ondo, condoles with Akeredolus, Fasoranti, Olowo of Owo
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in Ondo State on condolence visit to the family of the late governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu.
President Tinubu also visited Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of the pan-Yoruba organisation Afenifere.
In Owo, the home of the Akeredolus, the president also visited the Palace of Olowo of Owo Oba Ajibade Ogunoye.
Earlier, Tinubu ‘s plane, a Nigerian Air Force jet that conveyed him and his entourage, landed at the Akure Airport, the Ondo State capital at exactly 11:35 am.
In Akure, the president was received by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his Ekiti State counterpart Biodun Oyebanji as well as top government functionaries and prominent politicians.
A presidential parade was put in place at the terminal of the airport to welcome President Tinubu.
