Tinubu tasks Service Chiefs in maiden meeting

President Bola Tinubu has met with heads of security and intelligence agencies at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting, held on Monday, is the first interaction between President Tinubu and the new Service Chiefs since their appointment on June 19.

Those attending the maiden security meeting include Acting Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa;  Acting Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja; Acting Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and Acting Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar.

Also present are the Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

Expectedly, President Tinubu gave fresh charge to the Service Chiefs and other intelligence chiefs.
