Tinubu Off to France Monday
President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja to France on Monday, August 19, 2024
The President’s spokeman, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement said Tinubu will return to the country after his brief work stay in France.
President Tinubu’s trip to France is coming three days after he returned from Equitorial Guinea where he signed bilateral agreements on gas pipeline project.
President Tinubu had always visited France to see his physicians, although it has not be stated whether he would also use the opportunity to secure the release of the two presidential jets currently seized by the French Court, on the requests of the Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Ltd
The firm had on Friday stated that it was releasing one of the presidential jets, an Airbus A330; to enable the President travel to France for a meeting with the French President.
Unlike other visits to foreign countries, there was no mention of any official that will accompany the President on the trip.
