Tinubu, five state govs with borders with Niger Republic meet in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has met with governors from contiguous states with the neighbouring Niger Republic on Sunday.
The president aimed the meeting to address the escalating situation in Niger Republic with regards to the states sharing land borders with Niger Republic.
In attendance were Sokoto State governor, Ahmed Aliyu; Jigawa State governor, Umar Namadi; Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni; Kebbi State governor, Idris Nasir, and Katsina State governor, Dikko Radda.
It is expected that formal statement would be issued on the President’s meeting with the five state governors, which held at the State House, Abuja.
