Tinubu bars son, Seyi, from FEC meeting
President Bola Tinubu has barred his son, Seyi, from the Federal Executive Council meeting and others who are not ministers.
Tinubu, who spoke before the commencement of the FEC meeting on Monday, October 31, 2023, stated that he saw some individuals sneaking into the meeting who are not authorised to be there.
Thereafter, Tinubu listed officials of government who are authorised to attend the meeting, including Special Advisers, Bayo Onanuga, Strategy and Policy; Hadiza Usman, and three others.
As the meeting continued, the Secretary to the Federal Government, SGF, George Akume, led the members of the FEC to express their solidarity with President Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court, with a rendition of the Tinubu Mandate song.
Approvals were given to projects, including the rehabilitation of Third Mainland Bridge, at the meeting.
