Three men stabbed to death in London

Three men have died in a stabbing in east London.
Police said they were called at about 19:40 GMT on Sunday to reports of a disturbance in Elmstead Road in Seven Kings, Ilford.
The BBC reports that the three men, aged in their 20s or 30s, were found by emergency services with apparent stab injuries, the Metropolitan Police said.
All three were pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have yet been made, the Met added.
Police said they were in the process of formally identifying the victims and informing next of kin.
Ch Supt Steve Clayman said: “While inquiries into this tragic incident are at an early stage, this is likely to be a triple homicide investigation.”

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan tweeted: “My thoughts are with their families and the local community at this dreadful time.”
He said extra police enforcement powers had been authorised for the whole of Redbridge borough until 08:00 on Monday.
