Three arrested in Delta over sale of catridges to armed robbers, other criminals

The Delta State Police Command has arrested one Victoria Willams and two others for allegedly selling cartridges to cultists and armed robbers in Boboroku Community in Jesse, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of the state.

The operation was accomplished Raiders’ Squad, which led to recovery of 130 live cartridges from the suspects.

The suspects were arrested following a directive by the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, to the command’s Raiders Squad to raid an hideout where the suspects were hiding in the community.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said investigation is ongoing.
