Super Eagles Beat Rwanda with 2-0 in World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria’s Super Eagles reignited their World Cup qualification campaign with a dominant 2-0 win against Rwanda on Friday evening in Kigali. The match, held at the Amahoro Stadium and attended by Rwandan President Paul Kagame, saw the visitors outclass the hosts from the outset.
Victor Osimhen set the tone early, netting the opening goal in the 11th minute. The Napoli striker struck again later in the game, doubling Nigeria’s lead and solidifying their grip on the match. Despite a spirited effort from Rwanda in the second half, Nigeria’s defense, led by captain William Troost-Ekong, held strong to secure a vital three points for the three-time African champions.
