Strike: FG meets with NLC, TUC in Abuja

The Federal Government officials are meeting with the labour over subsidy palliatives for Nigerian workers at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting was initially scheduled for last Friday, but could not hold as the labour representatives walked out of the meeting because of the absence of government delegation.

At the meeting, the labour delegation is led by the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, who arrived the conference room of the Chief of Staff office venue of the meeting at about 4.50pm.

The government team, led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, has started the meeting with the NLC and Trade Union Congress (TUC) officials.
