Senator Ned Nwoko has publicly accused his wife, actress Regina Daniels, of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, which he claims is the primary cause of their marital problems.
The lawmaker made these statements on Sunday through his verified social media accounts in response to a viral video from the previous day.
In the video, Daniels alleged that she was a victim of “persistent domestic violence” in his home.
In his rebuttal, titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in my House and in My Absence,” Nwoko presented a different account.
He claimed that Daniels is the violent one, alleging she assaulted three staff members and destroyed property, including cars and windows.
Nwoko stated that Regina “was not always like that,” but her current substance abuse is the root of their issues.
He expressed fear for her life and safety if she does not continue a rehabilitation program.
The Senator revealed he has set a condition for her to enter a rehab facility, either in Asokoro or abroad in Jordan, to restrict her access to drugs.
He further accused two individuals, “Sammy” and “Ann,” of being his wife’s drug suppliers.
Nwoko concluded by asserting that his other wives have never accused him of violence, positioning himself as the party seeking a solution through rehabilitation.
