President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja for Paris, France, on a two-week working visit aimed at evaluating his administration’s mid-term performance and assessing key milestones.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president will use the retreat to review the progress of ongoing reforms and engage in strategic planning ahead of his government’s second anniversary.

The period will serve as an opportunity to refine policies, deepen reforms, and accelerate national development priorities for the coming year. The administration’s economic gains were highlighted by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), which reported a surge in net foreign exchange reserves to $23.11 billion—a sharp rise from $3.99 billion in 2023, underscoring the impact of fiscal reforms.

Despite being abroad, President Tinubu will maintain close oversight of governance activities and stay in touch with his team. He is expected to return to Nigeria in approximately two weeks.
