President Tinubu Addresses NASS to Mark Nigeria’s 26 Years of Democracy
President Bola Tinubu is currently at the National Assembly to deliver a keynote address during a joint session of lawmakers, as part of events commemorating Nigeria’s 26 years of uninterrupted democracy.
The event, taking place at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, has drawn a full assembly of legislators.
Later today, a Democracy Day lecture will feature prominent political leaders discussing critical national issues.
Notable attendees include Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and Budget Minister Atiku Bagudu, among other cabinet members.
Also present are former Senate Presidents Bukola Saraki and Ken Nnamani, ex-Governors Aminu Masari and Anyim Pius Anyim (who also served as SGF), as well as the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and other distinguished guests.
