Police release VeryDarkMan on bail

The police have released detained controversial social media activist, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM, on bail.

VDM was arraigned on Friday by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, over alleged impersonation with a video online showing him in complete police uniform.

VeryDarkMan was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties, each required to post an equivalent amount.

Th police also require VDM to drop his international passports and any other means of identification.

This is barely a week after a viral video surfaced, showing the social media critic wearing a police uniform.
