Police arrest man for alleged rape of girl with down syndrome
A man has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for raping girl with down syndrome disease.
The suspect, according to a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi Abati, was arrested on the 7th of December 2022, following the report lodged at Ilese Ijebu Divisional Headquarters by the mother of the victim, who reported that she sent her daughter on an errand at about 7:30 am, but when she returned, she discovered blood stain on her cloth.
