Pastor Adeboye told me I will die in 1989 if I left RCCG to start my ministry- Tunde Bakare, G.O. Later Rain Assembly

“When Pastor Adeboye told me I was going to die in 1989 if I left RCCG to start my ministry, I told him, Sir, I am prepared to die serving God. I am fully persuaded that it’s time to go.

I had earlier told him about the vision God revealed to me which was well encapsulated in Micah 2:10(Arise ye and depart, for this is not your rest;because it is polluted, It shall destroy you even with a sore destruction)

Pastor Adeboye then said, yes this river(RCCG then) is polluted but God will clean it.

In the end, I chose to obey God rather than man. To the glory of God we reconciled in 1992 and he admitted that he didn’t handle the matter well.

When I visited him in 2023, he said to me you are one of the few people who would come here and say he needs food and everyone including Mummy would go to the kitchen and get food ready.
