PARIS OLYMPICS: Oshoala expresses confidence in Super Falcons

Super Falcons and Bay FC player, Asisat Oshoala, said she is confident that the Nigerian female national team can do well in the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.
Oshoala said in recent interview that the Super Falcons can make things difficult for their opponents in the tournament.
Oshoala, who moved to Bay FC from Spanish club, Barcelona, on February 1, 2024, said she is not just thinking about getting out of their group but going home with a medal.
According to her, “I have a lot of confidence in this team. We have many young players and we can make things difficult for our opponents.
“We don’t just think about getting out of the group, I think we can walk away with a medal.”
The Super Falcons are slated to meet Brazil in their opening game of the 2024 Olympic Games at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique in Bordeaux, France, on Thursday, July 25.
They will face world champions Spain three days later at the Stade de la Beujoire in Nantes, followed by a group-stage match against Japan on Wednesday, July 31.
