The goal separated the two-time Olympic silver medalists and the nine-time African champions, who now have uphill task to qualify in the group stage

Eno, who was reacting to the loss of the team after the match, stated that he is upbeat that the Super Falcons will put up a good show against Spain but the task will be daunting.

“The next match against Spain, the World Cup champion will be daunting, but not insurmountable,” Enoh said after the game.

“It wasn’t a bad game (vs Brazil).

“We could have been a goal or two up before Brazil scored their goal.” The minister said.

The Super Falcons will face Spain in two days at the Stade de la Beujoire in Nantes, followed by a group-stage match against Japan on Wednesday, July 31.
