OYO STATE APC:  FATAI IBIKUNLE-LED CONGRESS COMMITTEE ALLEGEDLY TAMPERING WITH WARDS CONGRESSES LISTS

A Pressure Group within the Oyo State chapter of All Progressives Congress Party, APC – “Unity Guardian”, has raised an alarm accusing the Fatai Ibikunle-Led Congress committee of effecting alterations in the list of members of Ward Excos of the party, who emerged  through Consensus option as directed by the National Office last Wednesday.

In memo leaked to the press last night, the group alleged that the Committee Chairman, Alh Fatai Ibikunle, working in concert with the Secretary of Committee Hon. Afeez Repete, and others like Zach Adedeji’s brother- SOJ, Akeem Akogun, and Sina Alabi, have been holding nocturnal meetings at Alhaji Ibikunle’s Alalubosa, Ibadan residence in a suspected move to upturning Wards’ stakeholders choices of exco members in favor of a particular Aspirant.

The group threatened to mention the name of those behind the scenes if pushed to the wall, as it is in possession of other vital information released to it by its insider source.

In consequence of the moves, a mechanism for monitoring all lists  made and those finally submitted to the national office in Abuja has been put in place.

The group claimed further that it represents the broader interest of majority of registered Party members who are in full support of the second term victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as the party, APC, evicting the current administration in the state from Government House, Agodi.

The document assured all Party loyalists who are usually the ultimate losers, since those wanting to perpetuate the party’s failure will always manouvre their unholy ways towards securing federal appointments, without considering their followers, to be rest assured that the mistake of the past – “deep rooted disunity within the party, which was responsible for its series of electoral failures will not rear its ugly head again, especially in the spirit of this holy season of major faiths convergence through fasting – Ramadan and Lent”.
