This rematch followed Usyk’s split-decision win over Fury in May, where Fury led on two scorecards after eight rounds (77-75, 77-75, and 76-76). However, Usyk knocked Fury down in Round 9 and dominated the final rounds to win 115-112, 114-113, and 113-114, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

Usyk, 37, from Crimea, Ukraine, remains undefeated at 23-0 (14 KOs). A former undisputed cruiserweight champion, he transitioned to heavyweight in 2019 and has since won seven consecutive fights, including back-to-back victories over Anthony Joshua to claim and defend the WBO, WBA, and IBF titles.

Fury, 36, of Manchester, England, entered the rematch after a split-decision win over ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou in October 2023. Despite the victory, Fury struggled throughout that bout, including a knockdown in Round 3.
