Ogun State government has confirmed the partial collapse of a four-storey building at Itoku area of Abeokuta.
The building was still under construction when it caved in, Friday morning.
However, there are no casualties, while rescue mission is still ongoing.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Adedayo Adeneye, said Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who was on the site of the incident, assured that the cause of the collapse will be investigated, while also asking the good people of Ogun State to remain calm and cooperate with the rescue team.
The governor also said integrity test will be conducted on the other part of the building to determine its fitness.
