
Ogun @ 49: JKA Celebrates Founding Fathers For Visionary Leadership

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), former member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/ Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency and two times Governorship aspirant in Ogun State and who also the Sobaloju of Egbaland, Hon (Chief) Jelili Kayode Amusan (JKA), has congratulated the good people of Ogun state on the celebration of 49th anniversary of its creation.
Hon. Amusan hailed the founding fathers of the state for their vision and outstanding contribution to the development of a state called ours today.
He made this known in a press release to newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
Amusan praised the vibrant and resilient leaders the state have produced in the past 49years of creation by the then military Head of State, late General Murtala Mohammed.
He said,” we celebrate our strength and unity as a state and people rich in culture and traditions, with solid foundation by the likes of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Tai Solarin, Adeola Adetola, Chief Toye Coker, Chief Anikulapo Kuti, Chief M.K.O. Abiola.
Also, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), Senator Ibikunle Amosun and many more, indeed, It had been a remarkable journey of progress and development as a state and people after its creation.”
Hon. Amusan emphasised the outstanding achievement of the present administration-led by Prince Dapo Abiodun In infrastructural development and economic advancement which has repositioned the state among the South-West states.
He called on the good people of the state to support the present administration, so as to enjoy more dividends of democracy in the state.
