Obasanjo’s daughter, Iyabo, in rare public appearance

Iyabo Obasanjo, the daughter of former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, has been off the public scene after her father’s Presidency from 1999 to 2007.

Indeed, Iyabo Obasanjo was seen at the 60th birthday celebration of Lekan Ogunbanwo, Managing Director/CEO of PLUS TV, held at the Whitestone Event Centre in Lagos.

Iyabo Obasanjo, amid notable gathering of eminent Nigerians at the event, was in her ebullient self.

She has, however, maintained a low profile despite her lesser-known roles.

The report also stated that she recently bagged an appointment as a non-executive director at Unity Bank.

She also holds the esteemed rank of assistant professor at the College of William and Mary Department of Health Sciences in the United States of America.
