NYSC member slumps at orientation camp, dies
A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, slumped and died at Dakin Gari orientation camp at Tayachibiyacha Ebal in Kebbi State.
The youth corps member was said to have suddenly slumped and was immediately rushed to the camp clinic for medical attention.
She was later taken to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi for advanced medical attention.
However, she later died as all efforts of doctors to resuscitate her were futile.
Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, confirmed the incident in Birnin Kebbi, saying her remains have been sent to her Adamawa home State
Fingila who described the incident as unfortunate sent a condolence message to the grieving family on behalf of the Kebbi State government.
