
NSCDC arrests six suspected railway vandals in Kwara

Six suspects vandals with two 14-tyre trucks fully loaded with railway slippers have been arrested by the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The NSCDC arrested the suspects at Oloru in Moro Local Government of Kwara State at midnight on Wednesday.
NSCDC commandant Umar J. G. Mohammed identified them as Yunusa Bello, 41, Sanni Taminu, 35, Sanusi Lawal, 25, Alhaji Makeri, 33, Lukman Sanni, 32, and Olabode Johnson, 41.
Also paraded were Babatunde Adekunle, 41, arrested for ATM fraud.
Adekunle allegedly swapped his ATM card with that of an old man at a bank’s ATM point and subsequently withdrew N1,800,000 from the account.
