NEMA Delivers Relief Materials to Bokkos Attack Victims in Plateau

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed relief items to communities affected by recent attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State.
A delegation led by NEMA’s Director-General, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, visited the LGA Chairman, Mr. Amalau Amalau, in Jos to deliver the aid. Represented by Mr. Aliyu Waziri, NEMA’s North-Central Director, Umar conveyed the agency’s condolences to the victims and their families.
She stated that the intervention followed a directive from President Bola Tinubu to provide immediate support to those affected by the violence. The relief effort aligns with NEMA’s mandate to respond swiftly to disasters and emergencies.
Umar added that the agency had conducted an on-the-ground assessment to identify the victims’ most urgent needs. She assured that additional aid, including building materials, would be provided to help the displaced rebuild their lives.
