N15m video of EFCC officials bribe fake – Bobrisky

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, enmeshed in N15 milion bribery issue with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied this flatly.
Bobrisky, who was jailed in April 2024 by the anti-graft commission, quoted as saying that he bribed the EFCC to remain in his house during the six months sentence for abusing the nairaat a party.
Indeed, on Tuesday night, popular influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, had in a voice alleged that Bobrisky claimed he bribed EFCC officials with N15m.
The recording Bobrisky was quoted as saying that the N15m bribe was meant to facilitate EFCC officials to drop the money laundering charge against him.
The crossdresser was also quoted as saying that he never spent a day in prison after he was convicted and sentenced to a six-month imprisonment.
The crossdresser, in the recording, said his godfather arranged for him to serve his term in a lodge instead of a jail.
However, the crossdresser denied being associated with the viral recording, describing it as fake. He served his term in prison and denied the import of the video flatly.
An Instagram post by Bobrisky stated: “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira and that I was never in prison.
“I didn’t pay any EFCC money; it is a very big lie. I served my term in full and I came out. Discard any false information.”
