More details on woman who jumped into Lagos lagoon

More revelations are coming on the woman who jumped into the Lagos lagoon on the Adekunle-UNILAG waterfront end on Sunday evening, June 10, 2018.

One account claimed that the woman had asked the driver of the UBER Ford SUV vehicle to stop on getting to the Third Mainland Bridge, came down and crossed to the other side of the bridge before she took the ill fated dive into the lagoon.

The other version of the story stated also by eyewitnesses claimed that the woman drove herself in the Ford SUV vehicle with registration number: APP 190 CE to the venue of the incident, parked and jumped to the lagoon.

At the time of this report, rescue efforts continued to find her body under the lagoon.

Lagos Police Command spokesman, Chile Oti, was said to have confirmed the incident, saying the news filtered into the command headquarters. He said the zest ate Commissioner of Police, Imohinmi Edgal, had mobilized the police in Adekunle, Adeniji Adele and Oworonsoki divisions to tne scene of the incident.

Also, the Marine Police team, Rapid Response Squad, RRS,  and operatives of Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, Lagos State Transport Authority, LASTMA, and officials of Lagos State Ambulance Service, LASAMBUS , were on ground at the rescue scene.
