Kidnapping: Three suspects arrested in Lagos, as mob strips them naked
Three suspected kidnappers were arrested at Ebute Igbogbo Road in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
The suspects were reportedly held by people in the community in the procesd of their action and were handed over to the police.
The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspects attempted to kidnap a car dealer at the area on Tuesday before they were caught by vigilant residents.
According to him, “Three suspects, Taiwo Olayinka, 30; Azeez Sodiq, 33; and Saheed Moonstruck 23, have been in our custody since yesterday, shortly after the incident, and efforts are on to arrest the remaining two suspects that escaped.”
Investigation by the police is ongoing in the case.
But in a viral video, the trio were seen stripped naked with blood dripping from parts of their boody while being locked at the back of a Toyota Venza Car.
