Katsina Governor Radda Involved in Minor Auto Crash, Safe

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening while travelling along the Daura-Katsina highway as part of his official engagements.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Governor escaped unhurt and remains in stable condition.

“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.

Governor Radda expressed gratitude to Allah for his safety and thanked the people of Katsina and well-wishers for their prayers. No further details were provided on the cause of the accident or whether others were affected.

The Daura-Katsina road is a key route often used by government officials, with increased traffic due to recent political activities. Social media reactions have been filled with relief and prayers for the Governor’s continued safety.

Dele Fashomi is now the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Newstide247.com newspaper online, which he started in July 2015. He is also into biography writing, with many books in his trail, some of which he wrote alone and one he co- authored with his mentor, Mr Dare Babarinsa, entitled: Olabiyi Durojaiye – DARE TO BE DiFFERENT. He also guided and collaborated with Pa Olatunji Odusanya in writing his autobiography – AGAINST ALL ODDS. There are many other books in the works under his pen.
